Yesterday, a day at the cabin

We headed up to the cabin for the day, yesterday. It was a beautiful day and much fun was had by all. Grandma and Auntie MaryAnn snuck us and beating us up there. I should have backed up and left when I noticed the rakes outside! As you can see I raked many, MANY bags of leaves. Good exercise for me! The boys rode their scooters, went for a bike ride and played in the dirt. I really think they enjoy their time up there because you can just do your own thing with minimal hollering from your mother. That is what I loved about that place when I was a kid! I also took a few pics of the lake as the ice went out while we were there. That was great for the boys to watch! I didn't get many pictures of the boys because of all of the raking, yes, poor me!

Woohoo! It's nice out!!

We were outside for all of the afternoon and evening today! It was so nice out, yes, it could have been a tad warmer, but still BEAUTIFUL. As you can see in the pictures, the boys were very happy to be outside. We had a great time with our friends and even met a new one.
I saw a very positive sign today...............MY TULIPS ARE COMING UP!!!!!
SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!! WOOHOO!!!

karate!

Yes, we have begun the journey to the black belt. Will we actually make it that far? Who knows....
I do know that the boys will make it to the red belt. How do I know this? Because that is how long we are required to go under contract. Apparently, this is serious business! We thought we would give this a try as Wyatt's drum instructor is one of the instructors at the DOJO. Both of the boys really seem to enjoy it and I love the focus and respect it is teaching them. I really had no idea how much they drill respect and discipline into this kids. I LOVE IT!! Anyway, here are some pictures of the boys at their yellow belt graduation. Thanks for looking!
